Friday, 6.15 pm. Significant development. A second room has opened upstairs in the Lake Street building, a few doors along from the first. Staff call it The Possession. Staff say it is the same house, ten years later. Staff say this as if it were an ordinary thing for a corridor to contain.
I asked which room a person ought to enter first. The answer was the old one, so that the story runs in order. A sound protocol. I approve. I shall enter neither until my research is complete.
8.30 pm. Teams leaving the new room are markedly quieter than teams leaving the old one. Several sat on the steps for some minutes. One young man asked me the time and then said, ‘Actually, don’t tell me.’ Recorded as Phenomenon 14.
The upstairs window was busy tonight. Something stood in it for a long while, facing down the corridor rather than out at the street. I believe the entity is aware of the new room. I believe she is unhappy about it. Noreen believes I need a warmer coat. We are both right.
